Kate
Arecchi is the Artistic Director of North Country Center for the Arts. Kate was a member of the performing company during the inaugural Main Stage season in 1987, returned as a performer during the ’88, ’89, and ’98 seasons, and was the Children’s Theatre Artistic Director in 2000. She directed and choreographed two New Hampshire Theatre Award winning productions of Pirates of Penzance (2003) and Beauty and the Beast (2006) in addition to directing West Side Story (2007) and the The Full Monty (2008). Kate has worked as a director, choreographer, and performer at theatres around the country including Syracuse Stage, Mill Mountain Theater, Theater at Monmouth, Granbury Opera House, and North Shore Music Theatre. Directing and choreography credits include Macbeth, Sweeney Todd, Quilters, City of Angles, and The Woman Upstairs. Recently she directed Thoroughly Modern Millie at James Madison University, and the reading of You Pick Color at the East West Players in Los Angeles. Kate is an Assistant Professor of Theatre, coordinating the Musical Theater program at James Madison University in Virginia. In New Hampshire, Kate has served as the Director of Theatre at Holderness School, as Associate Artistic Director at PerformancePLUS, and on the faculty at Plymouth State University. Prior to joining the Papermill Theatre as Artistic Director, Kate served for three years as the Artistic Director of Galveston Island Musicals in Texas. A member of AEA and SAG, performance credits include national tours of Shenandoah, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Henry V. Kate is a graduate of Syracuse University with a BFA in Musical Theatre Performance, and of Penn State University with an MFA in Directing. |

Kim Frydman, M.S.A. is the Executive Director of North Country Center for the Arts. She is a 1995 graduate of Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and a certification in Secondary Education. Upon graduation, Kim acted professionally in Chicago for a children’s theatre touring company and returned to Oklahoma to teach high school drama, debate, speech and mock trial. She received a Master of Science in Administration degree from Saint Michael’s College in 2004. Kim worked as the Community Health and Marketing Coordinator for Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook, New Hampshire for 3 years and received the Annual Directors Award in 2006. Prior to joining the NCCA, Kim worked as the Development Associate for the YMCA of Greater Boston, focusing on their $31 million capital campaign. Kim is a previous member of the National Education Association and the Colebrook Kiwanis Club, and is a current member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. |

Schrader
(Props Master) joined the staff at NCCA in 1991. He lives in Connecticut
where he has been the Properties Craftsman for the Yale Repertory
Theatre since 1988. Before working at Yale Schrader was Technical Director and a
Scenic Designer at Brown University, Providence, RI, and Designer/TD with
Brown's Afro-American Studies Program. He is a freelance designer and craftsman
for theatre and commercial projects specializing in furniture renovation.
