Lee Hollis Bussie 
Lee Hollis Bussie is thrilled to be making his Papermill debut fresh from Charleston Stage. Credits include: The Last 5 Years(Jamie), All Shook Up (Chad), 25th Annual Putnam Country Spelling Bee (Chip and Mitch), Big River (Jim), and Urinetown (Officer Barrel).  Lee is a 2010 graduate of WIU with a BFA in Musical Theater.
Emily Everidge 
Emily Everidge received a BA from Southwestern University and resides in Austin, TX.  She is making her Papermill debut this season.  Credits include Uncle Vanya (Sonya), Agamemnon (Cassandra), The Country Wife (Alithea), Company (April), The Rocky Horror Show (Magenta), and Stop the World (Susan).  In 2007/2008 she worked in collaboration with the Rhodopi International Theatre Laboratory.

Andrew Freitas

 

Andrew Freitas is overjoyed to be making his debut at Papermill Theatre. A junior at Plymouth State University, credits include Little Women (Laurie), Chicago (Billy Flynn), Company (Paul), A Chorus Line (Bobby), and You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown (Schroeder).

Colleen Hayes


Colleen Hayes returns for a 2nd season, having appeared in The Mystery of Edwin Drood in 2010.  A senior in the Musical Theatre program at James Madison University, credits include Kiss Me Kate (Lois Lane/Bianca), A Chorus Line (Val), Nine (Sarraghina), I Love You Because (Marcy), Songs for a New World (Woman 1), and Bright Lights, Big City (Amanda).

Jessie Hooker


Jessie Hooker is making her Papermill debut.  A graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory, credits include the national tour or Legally Blonde the musical (Judge/Ensemble [us Pilar/ Paulette]), Ragtime (Sarah), The Wild Party (Kate) and Something’s Afoot (Lettie).  Thanks to God who has given me everything I have and continues to bless me. Much love to her supportive family, friends, and boyfriend.  Thanks to Jflo and Kate for the opportunity.

Margaret Ivey


Margaret Ivey recently graduated from the University of Southern California, and is thrilled to be making her debut with Papermill Theatre this season. Credits include Intimate ApparelTwelfth NightThree Sisters (directed by Kate Burton), The Beggar’s OperaNaga-MandalaSouth Pacific, and The Colored Museum.

Paul Koudouris

Paul Koudouris is a senior Musical Theatre major at Point Park University. Credits include Peter and the Wolf (Wolf), Twist and Shout: A Beatles Revue (George Harrison), Oklahoma! (Curly), I Love You Because (Austin Bennet), Les Miserables (Marius) and the Pittsburgh professional premiere of Rent (Roger).

Mervin Marvey

 

Mervin Marvey is a senior at Plymouth State University from South Africa, and is honored to be back for his 3rd season at Papermill, having spent the past two seasons touring with the Children’s Theatre.  Credits include Pippin (Leading Player), Rent (Angel), Company (Bobby), Wizard of Oz (Cowardly Lion), and Chicago (Amos).  He would like to thank, Kate, Kathleen, Beth, Kevin, his American families, friends and all that have been supportive in his journey. No day, BUT today!

James Haydn Rodriguez


James Haydn Rodriguez is proud to join the company of Papermill Theatre for his 1st season.  A recent graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory (BFA Acting), credits include A Chorus Line (Paul), Angels in America (Belize), West Side Story (Bernardo), The Grapes of Wrath (Tom Joad) and Crossing (The Backpacker).  He would like to thank his family and closest friends for their unconditional love and support!

Jenna Rubaii


Jenna Rubaii is ecstatic to be making her debut at Papermill this season. Originally from Clearwater, FL, she is currently a senior at the University of Miami.  Credits include Pal Joey (Linda English), Tommy Tune’s Studio 54 (Liza Minnelli), Hedda Gabler (Thea Elvsted), Rent, Pride and Prejudice, Some Enchanted Evening, and Songs for a New World.

Robbie Simpson


Robbie Simpson is thrilled to return to Papermill for a 2nd season after touring last summer with the Children’s Theatre. A recent graduate of Syracuse University with a BFA in Acting, credits include As You Like It (Orlando) at The Globe Theatre in London. Springs Awakening, The Red Paintball, Punchlines & Pregnant the musical in NYC, West Side Story (Tony), Fame (Nick), Miss Saigon, Lost In Yonkers and The Sister’s Rosensweig.  He currently plays Peter in the web series Get Some.  Thanks to Kate, Mom, & Dad!

Logan Alexis Troyer

 

Logan Alexis Troyer is a junior in the Musical Theatre program at James Madison University.  Credits include Kiss Me Kate (Lilli Vanessi), Arcadia (Lady Croom), The Sound of Music (Liesl) and Thoroughly Modern Millie (Millie).  Logan is excited to spend her 1st summer at Papermill after working outdoors in the Texas heat last summer.  Born and raised in Lynchburg, VA, she would like to thank her family and friends but especially her Mom and Dad for always believing in her.
Luke Wygodny 
Luke Wygodny is making his Papermil debut this season. A recent graduate of the BFA Musical Theatre Program at Syracuse University, credits include Hamlet (Laertes), Two Gentlemen of Verona (Proteus), Diary of Anne Frank, Dog Sees God, Cabaret, Rimers of Eldritch, The Crucible (John Proctor), and  Into The Woods (Cinderella’s Prince). Kathleen Arecchi (Casting Consultant) has been a casting consultant for the NCCA/ Papermill Theatre for the past 20 years.  A Professor of Voice and Vice-Chair of Music at Plymouth State University, Kathleen is the Artistic Director of the Music Theatre Company, and has been a stage and musical director  for many productions including The Secret Garden, Carousel, Sweeney Todd, City of Angels, and Iolanthe. As a performer she was an active recitalist, appeared in numerous musical theatre, operetta, and opera productions, and was a soprano soloist with many choruses and orchestras.  Holding an MM from the Eastman School of Music, and a DMA from the University of Maryland, she was on the faculty of Opera Festival di Roma in Rome, Italy for three seasons, was the New England Governor for the National Association of Teachers of Singing, and is currently on the executive board for the NATS Boston Chapter.

 

Erica Collier (Choreography Associate) received her BA in Theatre and Dance from James Madison University with a concentration in Modern Dance and Choreography. Past choreography and performance credits include Kiss Me Kate, Bright Lights Big City and Oklahoma!.

 

Jonathan Flom (Director – Almost, Maine) returns to Papermill for a 2nd season, having directed last season’s 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. He has directed over 40 productions throughout the northeast and midwest, including work in New York, New Jersey, Chicago, and Virginia. Favorite credits include Sunday in the Park with GeorgeThe Wild PartyRagtime, and Kindertransport. He is currently Assistant Professor of Theatre and Musical Theatre Program Coordinator at Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, VA. Since hitting the shelves in June 2009 his book GET THE CALLBACK: The Art of Auditioning for Musical Theatre has received rave reviews, becoming a foremost authority on audition technique. Kevin P. Hill (Director/ Choreographer – Rent) is thrilled to return to the Papermill for a 5th season, having directed and choreographed Seussical, Smokey Joe’s Café, On the Town, and Altar Boyz, and choreographed West Side Story (NH Theatre award for Best Choreography), Full Monty, and Mystery of Edwin Drood. Kevin directed and choreographed Tony Award® winning Actress Cady Huffman in Hello Dolly! at Theatre by the Sea.  He assisted the choreographer on the Broadway revival of Guys And Dolls,  and was the assistant to the director on the Broadway production of On The 20th Century starring Marin Mazzie, Douglas Sills, Joanne Worley and Kathleen Turner.    He has directed and choreographed Beauty and The Beast, Grease , Oklahoma!, It’s a Wonderful Life, West Side Story and A Chorus Line for LaComedia Dinner Theatre in Ohio, and Tick, Tick…Boom!, Forever Plaid, and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change for Oregon Cabaret Theatre.  Other direction and choreography credits include 42nd Street, The Wiz, Fiddler on the Roof, All Night Strut, Smokey Joe’s Café, Beehive the 60’s Musical, The King and I, My Way, The Pirates Of Penzance, The World Premiere of Lovers Leap, West Side Story, Good News!, Into The Woods, and Sweet Charity.  Some of Kevin’s performance credits include touring companies of Hello Dolly! starring Carol Channing, Hello Dolly! starring Michele Lee, Hello Dolly! starring Leslie Uggams, A Chorus Line and Anything Goes.  Off-Broadway he appeared in Party and The Cocoanuts.  Regional Credits include Naked Boys Singing, Whoop Dee Doo, Marvin in Falsettoland, and many others.  For five years Kevin taught dance and headed the dance minor program for Penn State University.  He was named a semifinalist through the SSDC Dance Break Program where hopefully his work will be showcased on Broadway. Kevin is currently working on an original danced/Play called Standing Still with Broadway composer and lyricist Jack Murphy where he hopes to present a fully staged production soon.   Kevin was nominated in the categories of Best Musical, Best Director of a Musical and Best Choreography for his work in Smokey Joe’s Café, and Best Choreography for his production of Chicago and Full Monty.  Kevin dedicates all his work to the memory of his sister, Kathy.

 

Jane Volke (Music Director – I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change & Rent) is excited to join the creative team at the Papermill Theatre for the first time this summer! She earned a Bachelor’s degree in music education (piano/voice) from Baylor University and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in choral conducting at James Madison University. Before moving to the east coast, Jane taught middle and high school choir in the greater Houston area.  Her choirs consistently scored superior ratings at Texas State UIL contest as well as at regional choir festivals. Musical Directing credits include Company, Little Shop of Horrors, Elton John and Tim Rice’s AIDA, Hairspray, The Fantasticks, Miss Saigon, and RENT.
